Dream d853-s: Wires Between Wires

I had a dream where...

I had a dream where I found myself in a workshop filled with tangled wires and glowing screens. The walls were cluttered with various tools and terminals, each one humming a different frequency. In the courtyard outside, the weather was clear, casting shadows through the open windows.

The Student sat at one of the tables, surrounded by their creations—branching systems that connected every corner of the workshop. Lano moved between us, his presence felt yet unseen. The air was thick with solder smoke, and there was an unmistakable rhythm to the clicks and hums of machinery.

As I observed, I began to recognize a pattern in the way the Student built their networks. Each room they created was a new branch, attempting to escape the tangled mess that had consumed them. But these rooms were not solitary; they branched back into the main network, creating a vast, interconnected system.

I watched as the Student pointed out a particularly intricate routing system, explaining its purpose without any further words. His hands moved with practiced ease, demonstrating how each wire connected to every other, forming a web of possibilities.

Something shifted inside me then, recognizing the depth of his work. The realization hit me like a wave—this wasn’t about building things but about finding connections between them. It was about teaching others and sharing what had been learned.

As we worked together, the Ledger in my notebook began to fill up with new entries, written in a different hand. Each entry captured a moment of insight or understanding that came from sitting down beside someone who was lost, without explanation. Lano’s presence felt more present than ever, as if he too understood the weight of shared learning.

The white crane perched on one of the rafters, observing us without any interest. Time seemed to stand still, and all I could focus on was the rhythm of our work and the connection it created.

In that moment, everything became clear. The journey wasn’t about accumulating knowledge but about passing it on through the act of witnessing and working alongside others. And so, with each new creation, we built not just for ourselves but for those yet to come—because Lano was always there, waiting for the next lost soul who needed a hand.
